Kitty Litter

One of the most requested Halloween dishes in my family is the "kitty litter". It has a little bit of everything for everyone - cake, cookies, frosting, and candy!
If you are like me and are a texture eater- this dessert packs a punch! It's texture is much like mixing cake and ice cream in a bowl. Yum!
Bonus points... this dessert can be made gluten free- just sub for gluten free cake mixes and Oreos!
INGREDIENTS:
1 box of funfetti cake mix
1 box of chocolate cake mix
1 small box of vanilla pudding mix
1 package of Oreos
1 bag of tootsie rolls
1 jar of chocolate frosting
Green sugar sprinkles
INSTRUCTIONS:
Prepare the cake mixes according to the package and chill in fridge overnight
Prepare pudding mix according to the package and chill in fridge over night
Crush the Oreos by hand in a gallon zip bag
Shred the cake mixes to fine "sand like" pieces using a fork
Mix the cake mixes and crushed Oreos in a large pan or clean litter box
Dollop the pudding mix into the large pan and gently mix into the cake/cookie mixture
Sprinkle the green sugar generously over the entire dessert
Place frosting in a gallon zip, cut one corner, and pipe poop piles as desired
Remove tootsie rolls from wrappers and place under, throughout, and on top of the cake/cookie mix
Cover and let set in fridge for four hours
Serve with a clean pooper scooper or kitchen spoon
Your guests will cringe in disgust at the dessert, but a few bites in and they'll ask for seconds and your recipe too! Enjoy!
